Of Mornings Quiet

By a cloak of mist,
Whispered lullabies sweet,
This river still,
In slumber deep.

A soul or two,
In tranquility profound,
Hushing sounds serene,
Doting calmness around.

Standing tall,
Edifices all,
Streaks far beyond
Horizons enthrall.

This time of day,
Soothsayers pray,
Of a beginning new,
In morning dew.
